Charlotte (Lottie) Elizabeth Garcia, your not so average teenager. Lottie is only 19 years old and she's been in a big accident. An accident that left her with Paraplegia. Which makes Lottie paralyzed from the waist down.

Lottie was heading into a modeling career. They won't accept her now because she's paralyzed. What will Lottie do?

August (Auggie) Lee Winters, is a 19 year old boy who just so happens to be admitted in the same hospital as Lottie. Auggie has been battling Leukemia for quite sometime. Auggie has Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia otherwise known as ALL.

Auggie wants to become a artist, but he can't when he's always in the hospital. Everything he's drawn consists of hospital equipment, and the staff.
