Max Aucoin is finally living his dream in the heart of France. Performing with the Paris Opera Ballet, able to walk to his grandmother's sweet little cottage, he's in his childhood heaven.
A year passes and Max is restless. Each day gets longer, every show has the same plot in which Max must slick his hair back and play the catching Prince Charming- masculine emotions and a strong frame. While he moved in stiff fluidity, he found himself admiring the girl he accompanied, flitting about the stage in grace.
Two years pass, and Max meets struggling sculptor Claude at a gallery opening. The two click immediately, and while they both inspire each other in their art forms, their relationship becomes intense and difficult to maintain. For the first time, Max questions his love for dance over... love.
