Captain Steve Rogers has returned to the past. He thought he had moved on from wanting the simple life, but now he just wants to get away from the war and pain he has seen. He thought coming back was going to be easy, but now that he is here in 1953, it is anything but. Howard Stark is still his friend, but Peggy has moved on with Daniel. The simple life isn't going to come easy, especially when Hydra is still lurking.
**This story contains spoilers after "Avengers: Endgame."

Both of the girls were best friends and Agents at the SSR. During the war, they actually had some respect. Peggy fell in love with Steve. His closest friends- Charlotte, Peggy, and Howard Stark were all very sad over the loss of the best person they knew. They have a hard time getting over it, and things get worse when Howard is accused of selling weapons to US enemies. Meanwhile, Peggy doesn't know if she will fall in love again, and Charlotte feels incapable of it.
