A wizarding prince who is about to rule the kingdom of Clouds.

A strange savior who withstands the attacks of Age.

An evil Queen who seeks destruction and revenge.

These are, but a few of the many signs of a slowly yet steadily
approaching destructive war between good and evil. Only the legendary Jewels of
Jouris can save the wizarding kingdom, and that responsibility is taken by a
prince as he accidentally absorbs the power of one of the strongest known
to wizard kind. As he readies himself for the approaching war, he faces
challenges and meets people who teach him the value of humbleness.

Tom Tickler and the Sapphire of Skills is the first story
of the series, a story consisting of magic, adventure and endless action. The
story shows the miraculous way in which the overconfident hero makes a
permanent mark in the history of magic; how he struggles against powers greater
than his own, and finding at last the most dangerous weapon; one which is more
influential that blackmailing, bribes and threats, a weapon that can’t be fought
with a sword or a shield. Words.

The protagonist struggles against his enemies, and
discovering ancient secrets along the way, secrets almost as old as magic
itself. As the end approaches, his pride withers away to give way to self doubt
the cause for his actions as he is presented before the question - What is evil
about evil? He discovers that there is no thing such as completely right or completely good - the universal formula for justice was, is and always will be: ‘the lesser of the two
evils’.

Tom Tickler is a story with a unique combination of
magic, adventure and action. The author sincerely hopes that you will enjoy it.

❝All men must choose between Two Paths. Good is the path of Honor, Heroism, and Nobility. Evil... well, it's just cooler.❞ ~ Megamind If it's one thing Disney USED TO like to do, it ALWAYS had the heroes win. Here's how it goes down. You have a pretty girl who, who always has an enemy, girl gets caught in the enemy trap, strong person defeats the monster and saves the girl. Happily ever after. The end. Roll credits. But here's the thing, you never see what happened to the villains, you never hear their side of the story, their backstory that caused them to do what they did. Maybe they were banished from the land, that's why they put Sleeping Beauty under a curse that made them sleep for a hundred years. Or maybe their family pressured them into think beauty is everything and they must be the most beautiful in the land to finally get the approval that they did something good, maybe that's why they poisoned Snow White to take her beauty. What if they just wanted to get revenge for Peter Pan taking their most valuable treasure, that meant more to them in the entire world, maybe that's why they had a growing vendetta over Peter Pan. There are many other reasons why villains did what they did, but, did these heroes ever consider that these villains had a family. Like how maybe Gaston might have had a kid who had to grow up with only one parent cause the Beast killed Gaston. Or maybe how Dr. Facilier might have had a daughter, but since he was locked in the shadow realm he never got to have that valuable father-daughter relationship with her. What if Disney is hiding something from us. The story of these kids who had to grow up without a parent or with the burden of being teased because of their lineage. Well, Disney, you may be good at making giant Marvel timelines and making us cry at the end of EVERY Disney Pixar movie. But I'm good at revealing your secrets. Why be good when you can be bad instead? editor: @mya_colondres
The Last Knights of Cambria Book 1: Echoes of Gideon by kullman
16 parts Complete
Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.

Once we are alone, he turns to me, "We need to work on your acting skills. How can a commoner be such a bloody awful liar? Don't you learn that when you are infants?" "Oh, I'm sorry I don't lie for sport like you lot! Last I checked, it's the ones with the sticks up their arses who are so brilliant with deceit and after seeing your performance I know it to be fact! I've never heard such shit! As though I hold any regret, for telling that fancy prat anything, ha" I call back. Now that we are alone, I no longer require restraints as I let my temper run wild. He does something that takes me by utter surprise. He literally grabs my lips and pushes them together. "Don't you ever shut this mouth of yours!" I move my hands to his chest, trying to pay no mind to the heat radiating from him and give him a great push, shoving him a few steps back in surprise. "Don't touch me! Agh!" I let out before taking a breath, and with a little less force I add, "the King bought it didn't he." "Barely," he grunted. My head snapped back at him, I was fuming. How could a man make me so incredibly angry with just a few words? This must be the great charm of the Prince, I hear so much about. #310 in Historical Fiction 10/2, #347 IN HISTORICAL FICTION 1/5, #291 IN HISTORICAL FICTION 5/18, #239 IN HISTORICAL FICTION, #232 IN HISTORICAL FICTION 6/23 #160 in Historical Fiction 1/29/18 , #131 in Historical Fiction 4/3/18, #121 in Historical Fiction 4/4, #108 in Historical Fiction 4/8, #89 in Historical Fiction 4/9, #87 Historical Fiction 4/13, #66 Historical Fiction 4/22, #60 Historical Fiction 4/25, ----- Currently going through some major revisions 1/27/2018
