Maggie was six years old when her parents got a divorce and just three years later her mom found a new boyfriend. At nine years old Maggie goes into her room and turns on a lap only to have sparks leave her fingers and go into the lamp. She heard yelling in the kitchen her mom had passed out in the kitchen. Mom's new boyfriend was coming to her with her fists up. Maggie used her new powers and he was knocked out.
