Azalea and Bailey were on their way home from an exhilarating time at their summer job making $500 a week when they've committed the most heart breaking crime, or so they thought?
Later they discovered the cause of the accident was not their fault, but the so called victims fault. He was a citizen affected by the outbreak that took place and spread like wildfire over night. This outbreak caused the citizens to turn slightly green, skin rotting, internal organs visible, blood draining, and from all these human effects these citizens will be able to live for decades. Trapped in their own body.
It's like sitting down in a dark room with no door, watching T.V.. Except there's only one channel, and you're not able to control it.
Join Azalea and Bailey in this short story as they and their family fight for survival through the many obstacles coming their way, through the heart breaking deaths of some of their family, through the heart breaking betrayal of who they thought was family.

I recommend to read Book 1 before proceeding to book 2. In book 1 you get to meet all he characters and their relationships with each other and what powers they have. I think you'll be a bit lost if you read book 2 without reading book 1.

~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Now let me add in something else. I'm wanted by the CIA for reasons that I don't even know, but I guess I will find out eventually. Maybe somewhere within my story I will figure it out.
