Tasked with a three-day journey to The Realm's capital, guided by the famed yet eccentric Eli Sharp, she discovers the world she idolizes has a dark side she never expected... and the ones she knows best have secrets too. When all is finally revealed, she must search within herself and choose the world she truly belongs: Reality or "The Realm".

Meet Alizah, the ultimate parent-pleaser extraordinaire! She's like the CEO of "Operation Make-Parents-Happy," always two steps ahead of what her parents need. If love was measured in mango pickles, Alizah would have made enough to last the whole neighborhood for years-because nothing makes her happier than knowing her parents are proud (and well-fed). She's not just obedient; she's the gold-standard role model for "I'll do anything for my parents," with a side of humor and a smile that says,"Challenge accepted!" Life was all smooth until one day-BAM! Her parents dropped the biggest bombshell: "We found the perfect boy for you!" Before she could say, 'Not Ready' she was already knee-deep in wedding prep, forced into a marriage she never signed up for. The boy? A soft-spoken, polite guy named Vivaan, who looks like the human version of a greeting card-nice, but completely unnecessary (in her opinion). Now, Alizah isn't one to rebel; she's the kind of girl who'd say "thank you" after getting scolded. But being obedient has *limits*-and they were crossed somewhere between picking bridal lehengas and smiling for selfies at pre-wedding shoots. In her mind, she plotted "Mission Sabotage" Unfortunately, nothing worked, because Alizah parents could win *Gold* in emotional blackmail. "Beta, we just want to see you happy," they'd say with teary eyes, making her surrender faster than a cricketer caught in an LBW. In the beginning, there was death. I open my mouth to speak and he looks my way, but the gleam in his dark brown eyes hits the moonlight just right and I fall. My voice escapes my throat and I can't do it. I've tried for years to tell him. 10 years, actually. All this time, I hopelessly remained devoted to a ghost who had given the best of himself to a fiery red-head with a sassy personality and the body of a supermodel. For 10 years, I held to the desperate thought that maybe, just maybe, he'd be someone I could count on. Instead, I watched him marry my best friend, smiled as they welcomed their son. Stood, holding that beautiful boy as his mother was in the first round of executions after the beginning of the Revelation. Helped heal Will's wounds in the aftermath. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden.
