It starts with a simple itch, nothing more. Maybe a few random spasms or the occasional shudder but you'll think nothing of it. Then you'll get blood shot eyes... Not enough sleep? I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. When the Green Flu hit, no one was prepared. Once a person is injected, they change. They become violent and hostile, and a danger to even those they love. When four of those people band together in search of some place safe, will they find their sanctuary or will the so called "zombies" overrun them?

It's a zombie apocalypse. The 3 siblings and a few other people they picked up have to try to survive in the wasteland with famine, lack of medicine, and of course, zombies. Why did this happen? Who caused this apocalypse to happen? Pretty soon they learn that the zombies aren't even much of a problem anymore, it is the consequences of the zombies. Lack of food, supplies and poor mental health kill more than bit marks.
