Nicole Blanchard is a 14 (almost 15) year old girl and she live in Tulsa Oklahoma and she is Steve's cousin and he is in charge of her because her parents died so she lives with him, steve doesn't like Ponyboy and Nicole and Ponyboy are best friends, Ponyboy confesses his love and Steve obviously doesn't like the idea so they have to date in secret. Steve calls her nikki and so does pony but steve doesn't like that he calls her that because he doesn't like him
