A year after Ty and Kit attempt to bring Livvy back from the dead, Kit is living in Devon with Tessa and Jem when they are invited to Clary and Jace's wedding. Then, Tessa and Jem are called to help the Clave with an investigation, and Kit is left to be babysat by the Blackthorns. He is dreading this, of course, because this means he will have to spend time with Ty. Ty, who he's still madly in love with. Ty, who probably hates him back.
