5 years ago, I lost my best friend. All because he confessed his feelings for me and I over thought things. I was left on my own only to realize too late that the feelings were mutual. Now, I vow to love the next guy wholeheartedly, with no reservations, no regrets. I only live once. Let's not make things complicated. ↞↞↞♛↠↠↠ Everyone makes at least one mistake in their life; if you don't, you're not human. I just happen to be one of those people who make a lot of mistakes. To start with, there were the Rumours. You know, those things that only powerful people can make up? Yeah. Those. They were the beginning of everything that ever went wrong in my life, but also the thing that led me to the end. Although, I didn't know that at the time, so a few bruises and kisses down the line, I found myself faced with a big problem. I had to choose between three people, all of whom had been lying about everything for months. That wasn't an easy task for someone like me, but the biggest issue? I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. Thomas needed a vacation, but that didn't mean he wanted one. His best friend convinced him to come down to his family's beach house for the summer to unwind, to relax for once. Thomas wasn't swayed easily, but he found himself on a flight to Florida regardless, albeit begrudgingly. Thomas intended to mope around for the three months, drink away his problems, and maybe get a tan in the process. However, his plans were thwarted when an unwanted houseguest from his past arrived the day after his getting there, leaving a bitter tang on the entire "vacation." Not to mention, Thomas was forced to share what he thought was his room with his best friend's wife's ridiculously handsome brother, Dallas. Thomas was on the cusp of drowning in the first week. Relaxation wasn't even on the agenda. He just had to try to keep his head above water.Complete
