“Why are you so nice to me?” He finally spoke, his voice quiet and smooth.
I frowned, surprised that he spoke, but more surprised at his question. I shrugged, shifting in my seat uncomfortably and said, “I’m nice to everyone; why wouldn’t I be nice to you?”
He gulped, his Adams apple bobbing up and down as he did so and he ran his fingers through his sandy coloured hair. “Because I’m a Rogue.” His green eyes stared deep into mine, the colour reminding me of the forest and I found myself completely lost in them. They were unbelievably beautiful.
“You’re a Rogue; not a monster,” I mumbled, feeling my cheeks heating up in embarrassment.

I struggled and lashed out at him hoping to cause some, any damage at all that might allow me to escape, instead his grip tightened and a whimper escaped without my consent.
