At a young age Evan and Brock were separated when a Skarn had attacked the kingdom. The Skarn took Evan as a trophy, or something more?
Later on in his life Brock had become a assassin for Evan's father, the king. On a mission in the dark forest Brock was confronted by the same Skarn that attacked the kingdom so long ago. As he unsheathed his sword ready to kill the behemoth, someone dropped from the trees above. Luckily they stopped Brock and the Skarn from killing each other, but before Brock could thank the person, they quickly hopped on the creatures back and they flew away.
Brock had noticed after they flew away that they dropped a pin that was made from pure gold. It looked like the pin was supposed to represent a owl or the Skarn. He picked it up and followed the direction that the behemoth flew, determined to return the pin and thank the person for saving him.

(My First Published Story) Enjoy! Eighteen year old Kyle Mason has been a Bounty-Hunter ever since he was fourteen years of age. Reasons were; when Kyle was nine years old his parents were killed by two men. It triggered him to the extent to get his Revenge. Eventually, Kyle was able to crossroads with Carlee. Kyle seemed to notice that Carlee was a very different person, in many ways and situations. That dragged him into having more personal feelings than revenge for the beautiful mademoiselle. Sad thing is though, when revenge is on the line, and a silver dagger is on track; will Kyle be able to change himself for Ms. Parker, or will his affections be meaningless toward being able to propel the dagger into Carlee's sweet and tender heart. After all, Carlee seems to fit as Kyle's Soul-Mate of Revenge.Complete

He promised softly. **** Marcus felt himself beginning to wake and struggled to stay in the dream. But it was no use. His eyes opened and he released the pillow his hand was gripping. It was the same one that she had laid her head on every night. His head went into the pillow heavily for a moment, breathing in her faint scent. He hated and treasured dreams like that with equal fervor. He rolled over on his back and stared at the ceiling. It had been decades since she'd been forced to break that promise.
