Kovu's parents worked under a furniture company and after several years of hardwork. they got a promotion to their company branch at Vancouver, Canada.

As soon as they got promoted they left Philippines for Canada for a more Financially compatible lifestyle.

However it does not apply for their son Kovu who is a bully victim. Their transfer to another country made the circumstances tougher for Kovu as he experiences racism, cultural shock and verbal abuse.

How will Kovu fare in a society that is full of hatred and wonder. Will he isolate himself even more? will he learn to deal with people on different matters? will he accept the cruel side of humanity? We'll find out how can we sort things out even we are always disregarded and neglected by the eyes of mankind. Like an owl who is wide awake, seeing things in a perspective in a pitch black darkness of the night.
