Chaos

Adalyn Fray: a girl like many other girls at age nineteen. Adalyn has just returned home from her first year of college and freedom. However, unlike her friends who are actually looking forward to going home, all Adalyn has to look forward to is her neglectful and sometimes abusive mother and loving but overprotective grandparents at home, as well as a handful of siblings. Desperate to escape from her small town of Brevard this summer and having failed at the internship search during the school year, Adalyn receives an offer from a seemingly well-known publishing company: Skye Love.

The offer seems to have it all: a job that pays above minimum wage and is located in Italy of all places, a place Adalyn has always longed to go. Housing is taken care of, and there are even paid days of leave. Adalyn is soon to discover to Skye Love isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Hopping on a plane to leave the United States with other Skye Love interns from her area, Adalyn is ecstatic. Life seems to be looking up for her... that is until her plane comes crashing down and she soon discovers that Skye Love didn't want her for her writing talents. Skye Love had other plans for her and her fellow interns.

A story full of mystery, a manufactured and nearly incurable disease that slowly turns its victims into zombie like creatures, and the discovery of a horrifying truth, "Chaos" tells the story of Adalyn being thrown into a world that she didn't know existed. A world that turns her world upside down after discovering she's not who she thought she was her whole life and that who she really is might just put her own life at risk.
