Standing in front of my face was none other than the troublemaking superstar, Percy Jackson.

"Is this a joke?" I turned towards my step-mother," are we on an MTV prank show or something?"

My step-mother shook her head," Annabeth, be nice, as I told you, Percy here was going to stay here for a while."

I turned my head back towards him. He was looking at me, weirdly, and I could feel his famous sea-green eyes staring into mine. I gazed back.

"I'm Annabeth," I stuck out my hand, introduced myself before my stepmom had to tell me to and gave him a fake smile. Piper wasn't wrong about the hot guy scenario.

"Percy Jackson, but I think you already know me," I didn't know if he was joking or cocky. He tried to shake my hand, but as soon as he touched me, I felt a warm feeling fill my body.
