Meeting The Beast

21 year old Layla Westbrook is the daughter of the Beta in the Wild River Pack. A well protected pack but know to be passive in most situations. All she has known is the protectiveness of her brothers and family. She has been trained to fight and protect herself by her best friend Garret when her family refuses to teach her. She yearns for adventure and to seek out something beyond her packs land. She craves the freedom that wolves of regular status have, but has always been watched over and given little freedom.

Clayton Alexander is 26 and has just taken over his pack as the new Alpha when his father decides to retire. As the new Alpha of the Running Wind Pack, he is left to reinforce his alliances and find ways to deal with his enemies. He is known to be hard working and serious, but also not to back down from a fight. Strong headed and bold, he seeks to create a truce with packs from all of the United States
