In the dangerous slums of Metzerberg, a revolution is festering. 
Ever since the war, the Dominion has occupied the city, ruling over it with an iron fist. They have forced most of the non-human races, and those humans too poor to live in the upper city, down into the "Ghouls' Quarter," along the riverbanks.
It is in this crime infested cesspit that Rezik makes his living as a thief. His talent, along with his personal golem, give him much notoriety in Metzerberg's underworld.
When Rezik's illicit activities force him to cross paths with a young noblewoman, he soon finds himself caught up in a daring resistance movement. Stuck between the forces of the Dominion, the deadly resistance leaders, and the gangs of the Ghouls' Quarter, Rezik's only hope is to find the Secret's Broker: a shadowy figure who trades in intrigue and who may have information that will change Rezik's world forever.All Rights Reserved
