SPOILERS FOR ENDGAME IN SUMMARY 
[Also please note that I have not read the Doctor Strange comics and don't have a way to do so at this time.]

 
Time can affect the brain in so many ways. People change so often that they don't even notice it's happening. Bad people can become better and even become a good person over time. The opposite is also true; a good person, over time, can change into a bad one.

Stephen hadn't noticed it at first but when he did he was so far gone that he no longer cared. After living through countless death's at the hand of Dormamu he also lived out many million different possibilities. Experiencing constant battle for so long with no rest changed him. Through seeing so many possibilities he also saw many sides to the people he fought alongside. Foolishly his heart latched onto Tony Stark, at first he found him irritating...then respected him...found that Tony understood his issues...then he began to care.

However this man was going to die.

Thing's played out as they were meant too and Stephen latches himself onto Tony's chosen family. He made sure Peter stayed safe when he went out patrolling and even gave him tips on hand to hand combat. He visited with Pepper and spoke with her about the various possibilities he saw as well as shared tea together. He would take time to not only tell Morgan stories about her father but would use his ability to show her the stories as he told them. He offered to teach Rhodes the mystic arts so that he would be able to walk on his own should he choose to. He would often meet with Happy, with Morgan in tow sometimes, at a burger place.

He felt guilty at his failure, he pinned over the man for a long time.

Then something snapped.
So here Stephen is, breaking so many rules just so he could change Tony's fate. He would have to change many others to ensure Tony lives but that's alright.

And, maybe, they'll find a type of love they never imagined. ~_~_~_~_~ She sits there, looking around at the toddlers she's supposed to be saving the world with - because Fury, in his great and stupid wisdom, decided to put Kate on that list. She told him no, he told her they might not even need it; she told him to take her off, that she was just a scientist, but he told her they'd need a top scientist in their corner; she told him no one on that list needed her, that they would be just fine without her, if not better, and he told her this was the best way she could use her powers if the need arose. Powers. Here, in the field, that's what they are, aren't they? That's what Coulson says. That's what Nat and Clint say. The one place they need destruction. But Kate doesn't want that. She never has. But she took her own choice away. And that infuriates her.

She chose to work for Stark, knowing that she was the best one for the role. She knew that her life would be different, working with the worlds most notoriously egocentric man, hell superhero, but she didn't care. She knew he needed help, staying on the right path and that's exactly what she did for him. What she didn't expect, was that one day, she'd meet someone worse than Tony. He claimed he wanted to take over the world, her world, but she was determined to stop him. Taking something valuable from him, ended up with her being thrown through the window from the tower, and hitting bottom, literally. She hated him with everything she had, knowing it was all his fault. But having him here again on earth, 'reformed', is what she was told, brought it all back, her nightmares, her anger and her desire. He made her life hell, for what he did, and now it was her turn, to destroy his life, in every way she could. Even more moody than Bucky, more sarcastic than Tony, more powerful than Wanda and definitely more angry than Hulk, the god of mischief better stay out of her way, if he knows what's good for him. But then again, when does Loki ever listen, and do as he's told.... 😏 ⚠️ Trigger warning ⚠️ Will contain swearing, adult themes, torture, abuse, smut, violence and depression. You can't just do that, can you? This story has Ironstrange (Stark and Strange are married). If you don't like that, don't read the story ^-^. I wrote this for a friend and she's a massive Ironstrange fan, I personally don't ship them, I'm fine with you not liking the pairing. I don't own any of these characters. Little does the world know, that Anthony Edward Stark/Ironman...is alive. He was in a coma for three months but is now on his feet. The only people who know are: Pepper, Morgan, Happy and Rhodey. Tony hears about the new duo and watches them on TV. He admits they are a great duo but deep down he is jealous. It used to be Ironman and Spider-Man against the world. Bucky (Winter Soldier) is trying to atone for his past misdeeds, while learning what exactly they were, but is living in Wakanda with T-challa (Black Panther) so neither will be playing a large role in this story. Then there's Aite. She's new. She's the Greek goddess of mischief, delusion, folly, and ruin. You'd think her and Loki would be the best of friends... Not so much.
