31 parts Complete In the second book of the trilogy, the fate of Harmony and Chaos is at stake...
Cayde's sacrifice was not the end. It was never supposed to be the end... it was only the beginning.
The supposed death of Cayde from his sacrifice was meant to cast a barrier of Harmony to protect Cayde's friends, his pack, and the land he so dearly loved.
But it was not enough.
And when light rises, darkness rises to meet it.
Now, Kimlasca fears that this rising darkness may spell doom for the Kimlascan Pack, as a sinister evil is fast approaching and only destruction... and death, is left in its wake. An evil only explained by one creature:
The Wolf of Chaos.
With Cayde's journey only just beginning, he must face a far greater task than ever before. Taking the form of a boy after his sacrifice, Cayde must return to the very shrine in which he supposedly gave his life in order to restore himself to his true form as the Wolf of Harmony.
As darkness and chaos swiftly approaches, the days of the Kimlascan Pack are numbered.
If the pack falls, friends will surely die... the land that Cayde loved so dearly will be lost, and the light will be snuffed out by the fast approaching Wolf of Chaos once and for all.
It is up to Cayde to defend his pack to the end, and if the pack falls... all will be lost, and it will be up to Cayde to pick up the pieces.
With Harmony on his side, Cayde has one thing that can never waver:
Hope.
Perhaps there will still be hope to shine light into darkness, perhaps hope will shine brightest in the dark once more.
Or perhaps all will be lost.
This is a tale of fear, destruction, and sorrow.
This is a tale of hope, courage, and resolve.
This is A Tale of Chaos.
