Harper is the eldest of the Children of the Forest. But to the rest of the world, they are lost.

These children were on a school bus, riding home from their private school. A small white car swerved into their lane, causing the driver to veer off a cliff. The children couldn't find their way back. This all happened 4 years ago. 

The only people that survived were:

• Delaynie, a 10 year old.  (their age now)
• Frankie, a 14 year old. 
• Jules, a 15 year old. 
• Jeffrey, a 14 year old. 
• A few unknown students to Harper.
• Harper, a 17 year old.

They have learned to fend for themselves and stick together. Some how the kids forgot their past. But now, people are starting to look for them again.
