After meeting a temporary companion Tyler they continue on routine traveling to the border for winter. But after being saved from a pack the three find them selves in the Safe zone. A functioning community in the center of The Edge. Emma and Shara's old town, run by Damien a old companion of Emma's. Friend new and old begin to appear and challenges never cease in their new found home. Secrets from the past begin to surface and Emma and Shara may have to face their biggest challenge ever. Trusting anyone but each other.
