A.U. (Alternate Universe)

Computer programmer Amy Malcom has finally done it-- the invention of a lifetime. She and her friend, Taylor, have created a machine that can transplant you into the story of your choice-- to make your favorite books, movies, and TV shows come to life, all within the safety of your own mind. With the use of this invention, Amy can meet the fictional characters she's admired all of her life, and if she can write it the right way, even make them admire her back. But bad things happen when the machine works a bit too well.

When Amy starts to love her alternate universes too much, she starts to wonder whether or not she wants to go back to reality at all.
