Hi, my name is Kira Foster, and I Live in a world full of magic! Which is one of the coolest things ever. But it has it's pros and cons. Magic is something everyone dreams of having, but most people never get. I guess my world got lucky, because everyone here has magic. Well almost everyone, there is this one girl about the age of 15 who was born with no magic! For her whole life she's been treated differently, because no one knows what to do with someone who is so different from everybody else. You guessed it, that girl is me. Not sure why I was born this way, but I was so there has to be a reason. That's the only thing that's kept me going. After fifteen years of being treated like an outcast, I was close to running. Running away from it all, but one day ( my sixteenth birthday) everything changed! When a threat beyond our knowledge ... a threat that could not be hurt by magic, attacked! Thats when it all changed!

The Compound
Magic? Nope. Hidden towns? Definitely not. Sexy mentors? Well.... oh, go on then. One minute, I'm stacking shelves, and the next, I'm whisked away to some mad place in the middle of the woods, being told I have powers. They open her eyes up to a whole new world full of magic and take her to the place she is to call home from then on, the compound. There are compounds all over the world hidden from the regular human eye. When she arrives, her life is full of drama, trying to learn about her gifts, make new friends, and simply just stay alive. Her mentor is supposed to be there to help her through things, but will he make her life easier or more complicated? My guess is the latter, but he is so gorgeous that a little complication is a small sacrifice to make. Dane just wants to get left alone. Ever since losing his brother, he's not been quite the same. Faye is forced upon him, and he has to try and train the new girl with a smile on his face. Easier said than done...Complete
