Eric has kept a dark secret. For the past year, he has been observed and stalked by a ghostly, slender being who torments him in his dreams and in his daily life. Finally reaching his breaking point, Eric runs away from the only home he's ever known in hopes of finding security from the being he calls the Father.

He finds himself in the small, eerie town of Mist, Oregon, where he is confronted by more then just the Slender Man.

Now, his only hope lies in a group of runaways like himself, who are so much more then the coward he was. In a story of death, deception, insanity, survival and humanity, Eric and the group must first find themselves to defeat their enemy, The Father.
