I heard the faint footsteps coming down the stairs. I remained calm. The metallic door swung open. My naked legs’ hairs stood up when the light breezed made contact with my skin. The footsteps sounded closer until they came to halt in front of me. I clenched my jaws to keep my breathing regulated. My heart started to beat faster.
That’s when I noticed. There had been two sets of footsteps.
I panicked.

As we reached my hotel room door, Christian pressed me against it, bring his lips to mine again. I pulled away swiping my card to unlock the room door. I turned back to Christian's implored eye and smile innocently. "No, you can't come in" "Please?" he begged, using the full effects of his eyes on me. I shook my head weakly knowing that if he asked again, I would cave in. His eyes pierced through me, causing me to squirm under his gaze. "Is everything okay in there?" I heard Warren's voice from the door "Fine" Madison called out, pinning me to the floor. Cheerleading is really doing her good. I need to work out more. "Stop being so desperate!" she whispers to me We looked up as the door opened. Mandy stood in the doorway as Liam, Warren, and Christian's confused eyes stared down at us. "Umm, yeah... Night" Mandy says as she entered the room, closing the door behind her. She looked down at us and begins to open her mouth. "Don't ask" I said, managing to push Madison off me.

I was just laying down on my bed, cuddled up with a book, when I heard a faint creak on the stairs. The sound was muffled seeing as the door was shut, but I heard it nevertheless. My eyes wandered to the door and I tried to be as silent as possible in my attempt to locate another sound. My body was tense, but relaxed when I didn't hear another noise. It's probably just my imagination, I thought. My paranoia was probably just getting the best of me since I was home alone. I heard the stairs creak again however and I heard... Footsteps. I put my book down slowly and got off my bed as quietly as I could. Yes, those were definitely footsteps. I opened my door slowly, trying to be as silent as possible. There was someone already on the other side of the door, however, and I screamed. Girl x Girl I suppose?? Doesn't really revolve around it but there is some Girl x Girl ish in here so... yeah.

His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people in this place. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.

Blood on my walls, very weird how they haven't gave me a different room. I look around and I see my door open and a guy covered in tattoos at the door step. "Let them sing" he said in a raspy voice. "I'll try..." I respond, but as I blink he has disappeared and my door is closed. I look at the window as I notice it's covered in bars. Outside is my fear, my fear of being seen. As I look far in the woods I see him again. He moved his lips as I read them. He said something like 'wait for me, and I'll see you' I think. That was what I last remembered before I blacked out.

Following the voices orders I pushed my body to go faster and to ignore the pain of exaustion. "There she is!"
