Meridian

Nikki Grace is living with her father, Gabriel, in New York City. Far away from the cool forests and lakes of rural North Carolina where memories of her mothers abandonment haunt them. Nikki's grandmother is steadily deteriorating into insanity, so she and Gabriel invite her to come stay with them for awhile.

However, Nikki quickly realizes that all is not as it appears with Grandma Rose and her mothers disappearance. Then she meets a mysterious boy in her new school, and he takes her across the Meridian. There she discovers a whole new world filled with magic, lies, mystery, and romance.

In this strange land called Atalia, she finds more than she ever imagined possible. Some of these discoveries are heartbreaking. Most are breathtaking. All of them are dangerous.
