Ashley has gone thorough a lot in her young life, first she was abused by her dad , so she slipped into a bad depression and was diagnosed with PTSD. When she was in high school, she meet a guy someone she really cared about; but one day he told her that he was leaving her, he wasn't even really dating her, it was just for a bet. So she thought low of her self and started to cut herself and starved herself. And she got bullied a lot, and slipped harder depression state. When she turned 22 and moved with her mother to hope county to try and get away from the misslou, but never really helped her depression that much. Then she meet someone that she wanted to be with, he made her happy and smile she's hasn't smiled since her high school boyfriend. But she taught he could never love her, or so she thought.

What she didn't know was that her friend's boyfriend's friend would become very close to her. She would soon go through some things she had never experienced. I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory. She steps closer, her voice trembling, but the edge of anger sharpening her words. "Or when? Or where? Or for what reason? Or what it even means?!" I flinch at her tone, but I can't answer her. I try. God, I try.. I look down at the sand beneath my feet, forcing myself to dig through every memory, every hazy night out, every stupid decision I might've made-but nothing. Not a single moment of how I got it surfaced. I let out a frustrated breath and rake a hand through my hair, feeling the panic rise like bile in my throat. When I finally lift my head to speak, Ashley's already staring at me, and I can tell-she knows my answer before I say a word.
