Specter: This is a story I've been working on for awhile. I've seen many people talk about how bad their writing is. This just makes me cringe because they say this when they're just on their first draft. I decided to post the first draft of my story called Specter. This is purely just to give writers and idea what a first draft looks like. A confidence booster. Something to compare your writing to. The best writer never wrote a master piece on the first go. When you read this you'll say, this is good but needs to be worked on more. WARNING CONTAINS: Dead plot points that go nowhere, Cringe worthy dialogue, Characters that are not fleshed out, Weak characters, A rushed ending, A weak villain, Thin plot that has little meat Scenes that make you say, "Srsly?"

I'm going to write a series of stories about my O.C going through different Universes and Realities from Gaming and a little bit of Anime as well. As he struggles though each one, he begins to have an understanding about himself as he gets stronger. *I will be going through the stories as both an omniscient and omnipresent narrator, and through the eyes of my O.C. The difference is that through the Narrator, I can drop hints and foreshadow what is coming next, whereas through my O.C, I can only talk and think with what I already know. Pretty Much...switching from 1st person to 3rd person and vice versa. I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts.
