It had been seven years since the Capitol had fallen to the rebel districts of Panem. Seven years since the death of President Snow. Seven years since a little girl of about seven or eight mysteriously appeared on the streets of Province 9 of the Capitol. No one knew who she was or where she came from.
So when a name unknown to the residents of 9 was drawn to be the girl tribute, no one thought of the little street girl who turned up days before the death of the president.
But Lysandra Boxwood stepped forward, going from unknown by many to known by all as she embraces her fate along with her strong desire for revenge.

Flickering Candle | The Hunger Games

5 parts Ongoing

Living a life fearing and hating the Capitol, Dahlia Everdeen did whatever it took to keep her mother and younger sisters, Katniss and Prim safe. The entire district knew that she would do and say anything to keep her loved ones safe. And that she did, when Dahlia volunteered to take her sister's place in the 74th Hunger Games. A game where she must fight to the death. Most citizens in the Capitol thought her a meek girl sent to die. Unlike other tributes, Dahlia was a candle flickering just barely in the darkness. Yet, what they didn't know was that within her the candle would grow brighter. A fire was sparked. And soon enough, Panem would be faced with a blazing inferno.
