One typical day I read a random book just to pass my time. 'Contract marriage with an attractive stranger? How does the legendary hero constantly appear when the helpless girl is in trouble? Is he waiting at the side for the precise moment to appear? And there are so many missing plots and elaborate descriptions. It's problematic to figure out from which era this book is because it's confusing. This is just so stupid,' I instantly thought before promptly shutting the book and placing it back. Seldom did I know, that night when I would go to sleep, I would wake up as the protagonist of that same book and it wasn't a dream. As the events of the story unfolds, I decided that I will not follow the plot. It's time to become a self-made women that works hard by herself. However I soon find out that perhaps I'm not the only one stuck in this book? And I don't know how the book ends so what will happen to me? Story about a girl who struggles to survive economically after losing her family and then ends up becoming the female lead of the book. She ends up falling in love with a guy who turns out to be trapped in the book as well. And they are not the only ones stuck in the book. Will they find a way to get out or stay trapped in the novel? Death Is My BFFLAD (Book Two Original Series)
(Bfflad- Best friends for life and death) Dear Reader, Let's start at the beginning shall we? I died. Oh no, not one of these stories again where someone angelic and heroic saves the damsel in distress. If only I was that lucky. My heart stopped beating. My lungs stopped working, my soul began to lift away... And then I was saved by a beautiful man with a kind heart and sparkles sprinkled around his head in a golden halo. A cunning, dazzling smile etched his angled features and his hair lay perfectly on his head like...black, sinful layers of pure cynical distrusting evil. Evil that was just waiting to onset a innocent girl as myself and allow her a short amount of time of happiness, and then finish her off when she became older. I'll give you a hint. The beginning of that description was slightly exaggerated. The Angel of Death. One of the only creatures known that was capable of settling the boundaries of heaven on earth. The only creature capable of making one of the Devil's darkest deals to my loving mother; a second chance for her daughter. This comes with consequences of course. Everything you know about Death is wrong. Death is not natural, Death is not normal, Death is not doleful, and Death is far from mercenary. Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him. Hope for you. Death is close. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. 'Who would want her' she thought as she took a step away from the area Until a firm shout was called out of the crowd "5...hundred gold coins" he raised his hand while female turns around to see his bagged money already in the tradesman's hand. He pushes the container to him with the girl, screaming. She grins at this stupid idea and ran off "This is stupid, Y/n" She gather her crew to sent sail in a couple of minutes. She pulls one of her excitement smile on for the crowd to see. "I know, but it could help us with mother's sickness" She steers away off the deck and into the ocean with her crewmen scattering around her "What if you don't come back" Y/n peered down slowly to see the necklace with a piece of diamond tied around it, she looks back up clutching it with one hand. "I promise I'll come back" ---- "Come look, boss!" Joey came running into my room as I got up ASAP. I could see my mother already getting the treatment she needs for sickness to go away, but what if it was a false alarm as usual. I took slowest time ever because I been through this a multiple times. I emerged myself out in the open, squinting my eyes for the sun to hit my face immediately.
