Maddie and Ryder were lying on the grass looking up at the stars. They were simply enjoying the moment. Maddie decided to brake the comfortable silence that had fallen between the two.
"Hey, Ryder?" Maddie said while turning to look at him.
"Yeah?" He replied back while lying on his back with his eyes closed.
"How much....do you care about me?" She said with a pause mid-way through her sentence because she was afraid. Afraid of what he would say.
"Well how much do you think, doll" Ryder said with his usual smirk on his face.
"...uh...To the moon?" Maddie said nervously.
"And back." Ryder said while pulling her into his warm embrace.
