“What about love?” he asked, a smirk apparent on his sculptured face.

“I don’t believe in it.” I shrugged and tried getting past him but failed horribly when within seconds he had me pressed against a nearby wall, his hands on both sides of my face. I gasped when he leaned in closer and felt myself shiver at how close we were.

“Well I guess I’m going to have to change that aren’t I?”

19-year-old Juliana Adams had always thought of love as a myth or belief, seeing it as something that people claimed to exist, especially after her dad's death, when she watched her mom go though more relationships than she could count to no benefit;always ending up with the same broken heart.
