There was something erotic about having her here, so close, having her tell him how good his scent was, have her breathe him in and look at him the way that she was at that moment. Something in his stirred and almost of its own accord, his hand lifted to cup her face, as his palm touched the skin of her cheek, her breath caught and her lips parted. As he leaned and their lips finally met, he did not give her the choice to walk away as he pulled her into his embrace, his lips explored hers, tasting and coaxing until she completely gave in and sighed into his arms, her lips opening to meet him as they kissed for what seemed to be a lifetime. Amari could not believe all she was feeling, she had been kissed before but nothing could prepare her for the all-consuming heat that built up in her blood as Damien kissed her, she wanted to get lost in it, she was searching for something in it and she was afraid of what she would find. That fear reminded her of who she was kissing and the circumstances they found themselves in so she pushed herself from him, panting and wanting but unwilling to carry on, she looked at him and he seemed just as affected as she was so she surmised that he would not blame her for this. I still love you, you know that I woke up with my hair matted to my forehead from the sweat. Not again, I thought as I wrapped my arms around my chest and began to softly rock myself.
