This is the first installment in the epic saga: The Prophecy
Star is just a normal girl from San Francisco. Well, can you call a New Empire fighting, premium enhanced, super bitch in a prophecy to determine the Other World's fate normal?
There are two giant, colossal, main dimensions: your Earth and the Other World. While you live your days in a merry do-gooder life with a nice world, or a criminal drug dealer who has a strange day job, we're at war. We, as in me--Star-- and the Rebellion. But we were separated a while back. A government that calls themselves “The New Empire” wants to make our world the New World, the Only World. They believe Earth is irrelevant and that we have been brought down under wrong government. They believe we should conquer all realms, bring them to our knees, and seize power; children are seen as weak and should be trained and wired to soldiers; the Empire believes the Rebellion is fighting for Earth. Maybe we are and maybe we aren’t, but we are strong. We are fighting for balance, and we are fighting for all of our freedoms. But what's most terrifying: the Empire calls us the "New Era", or the "Ultima Era", as in: the supreme era which will end us all.
I fought, but now I hide like a coward. Not anymore. Now, I will rise up and defeat the New Empire, I will unite us all, I will conquer this so called Prophecy, AND I WILL END THIS.
ONCE AND FOR ALL
A retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, a story of fate, the struggle for power, and love found in the most unexpected places.
*****
Persephone has been raised in Olympus all her life - her mother absent, her father a cruel king, with her siblings teaching her all they know. She has seen all of what the gods and goddesses do and she is sick of it. When she learns her safety is threatened by staying in Olympus, she flees to the Underworld. There she stays until she learns that her leaving has caused the world to wilt. But leaving behind her newfound friends and Lady of the Underworld is something she will not do willingly, no matter the consequences.
