Cyrus Goodman and TJ Kippen are two rival actors that always seem to find themselves competing for the same roles. On a hot July day like any other, they discover that their agents have landed them both supporting roles in an L.A. based action movie, but instead of competing for the same role, they now find themselves playing each other's love interests. With a shared past they're both trying to grow from, things get a little complicated when feelings enter the mix.

Cyrus Goodman is a very sweet and innocent 16 year old boy. He likes to wear makeup and big sweaters. In his mind, everything in his world is perfect. He has the perfect boyfriend, Jonah Beck, and the perfect friends. He has the perfect life. Aside from his frequent panic attacks and not knowing what to do in life, he sees everything as perfect. TJ Kippen is a misunderstood and so called "evil" 16 year old boy. Although the good hair crew have excepted him as their friend, Cyrus' wishes, no one else really sees him as the nice person he is. In his mind, everything is completely shitty. He has a shitty mom, a shitty dad, and an all around shitty life. The one thing he sees as perfect is his best friend, Cyrus Goodman. He truly loves Cyrus, in more ways than one. What makes his heart break is that he knows Cyrus isn't being treated well. TJ can see Cyrus is being abused, but Cyrus won't listen. That's where it started everything. Cyrus Goodman was an unathletic dude, who had a crush on Jonah Beck. He was best friends with Andi and Buffy, and thought it would stay like that forever. He was gay, and only certain people knew. TJ Kippen was an athlete who was an intimidating jerk to so many people. He was sexist, a jerk, anything "bad" you could possibly think of.
