CWTCH: A Welsh word for an affectionate hug. The closest literal translation is 'safe place'. That's all you wanted, really. You were just looking for somewhere you could feel safe to be yourself; to shed your masks and obligations that your station forced upon you. Even being a princess had its downsides, after all. It was your hope that Destiny Islands was going to be your safe place - a place where you could grow and make friends with no worries about your pressing responsibilities or if they were only talking to you because of who you are. You never counted on getting so attached, and you DEFINITELY didn't plan on risking your life... [Kingdom Hearts] [Final Fantasy] [Reader Insert]

You've liked Reno, your fellow Turk, for a while now, and Rude, along with an unlikely duo, persuades you to confess to him. But as a new, dangerous mission looms, how will you cope with the fallout? Will you lose him all too soon, or find a new strength in each other to find a way to make it through. This work (and the rest of this description) has MAJOR SPOILERS for Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Remake, so please bear that in mind when reading it! Based around the Sector 7 plate drop, this story explores the lead up to the mission, the mission itself, and the aftermath from the Turks' POV. How do they react to having to drop the plate, and what is the emotional impact on them afterwards? Written for a female reader, this is a story with plenty of fluff and plenty of angst, rated mature for language, themes, and some eventual smut too. Reno is an amazing character and great to write for - I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I loved writing it!
