A french girl named Adelene returns to her hometown of Saint Pierre in normandy. When her town falls to the iron boots of the Reich she finds herslef in a whole new reality. Not all is grim however, for soon she finds herself falling for a young soldier of the Wehrmact. This story will take the reader across a war-torn northern france during the years of 1940-1944. It explores the horrors of the second world war, while telling a love story hidden within the ruined towns and bombed out fields. Will both of them see the end of war, or end up as casualties in history's greatest tragedy?
