I had an idea to make a story where the reader gets to decide what happens and since DBH has so many possibilities, I wanted to make a book that changes based on what you decide, just like the game! At this point, this is only a concept, but I wrote the first chapter and I wanna know what you think! I'm still unsure whether to write all the outcomes and tell the reader what chapter to go to for which choice they make (I would not make a Kara route), or to let the readers vote and then write the next chapter (Kara route would be one of the voting options). Please let me know what you think and which way I should write it!!!

The the year 2038 everything seemed to finally be looking up for the recently torn city of Detroit, not for young (name) who couldn't speak since an accident at age six left her mute. Being mute had a lot of disadvantages, the biggest being that most humans couldn't understand sign language at her workplace in the Stratford tower, so the only friends she really had were androids. An RX800 android, Brent being her best friend Then, after a supposed terrorist bombing at the Stratford tower, she is thrown into a police investigation head first, the only person with she could really communicate was an RK800 android named Connor. Throughout the investigation, however, (name) grows a strong attachment to Connor, with him treating her like an actual equal than a strange foreigner. Hankcon? Honnor? Hannor? Whatever it's called to you, I like it, and when I'm bored I write fanfictions, and this is that? Oh, and sorry for the cheesy title lol. I think it'd be fun to make this story a little interactive to fit the game better. As you'll see when you read the chapters, there are italicised words-- Connor's commands, options, his choices. I took the liberty of choosing for Connor, but as I reached chapter sixteen, I came up with the idea that consistent, dedicated readers should be able to chose occasionally for Connor, directing which path the story will be told in. Now, here's what could be hard for you all: I said consistent. The sooner you read my chapter and vote on which of Connor's choices you think should be continued with, the sooner the next chapter comes out. If nobody agrees (2/3/4 choices, 2/3/4 people each pick one and nobody agrees), I might have to choose what happens. Choose your own adventure: sanders sides addition
M'kay. So you know choose your own adventure books? Basically at the end of each chapter you can comment on a line to vote for choices that will impact the story (example: Do they chase after someone or let them go in favour of doing something else). These choices will impact the story, development of characters, and even who lives or dies. You will have no information about what these choices will do beyond what the characters know, much like in if you were in their situation. This is a au, (I love aus so so so much) in which they have powers. Not saying who, what, when, where, or why yet and unless you make the choices that lead to discovery you simply won't find out. Some things WILL happen, regardless of choices (for example, if choice A lead you to meeting Patton and choice B lead you to Logan, You would still meet both, but the one who is voted for will be a more significant character, but it will be fairly equal) early on in the story choices may appear twice, allowing a second chance to discover that character/event/info, and choices will be fairly obvious (ie, Patton at a dog park, Logan at a Library) but as stakes get higher it gets harder. Can you discover the truth and keep everyone alive? I have a main story so updates will be infrequent. Which choice will be decided when I write the next chapter based off who has the most votes at the time. I may write all alternate endings in the distant future if people want, but I won't get ahead of myself. Yeah, ok I doubt anyone's still here. I thought I would write this book in honor of Pride month and honoring the LGBTQ+ community, also this was kind of a request from someone. Also I thought I would maybe write something different and a little new 😅 You are an android who was freed by Markus and the people of Jericho during the android revolution and then you met someone who changed your life forever, whom is Kara. Ever since you've been free and became a deviant, you always wanted to be part of a family. You meet Kara and as you two start to get to know each other, you start to fall in love with her and she falls in love with you as well. When you and Kara become a couple, you adopt Alice as your adoptive daughter (if you are wondering, yes Luther is still Alice's adoptive father and Kara is still her adoptive mother, you are more like a second adoptive mother to Alice. Also, yes, Kara and Luther are still really great friends and they are still family 😅) and you all start to have amazing adventures, especially romantic adventures with Kara. I hope you all enjoy!
