Amanda Addington has lived a sheltered existence while growing up in a sleepy little town in upstate New York. Because of her studious attitude at school, she has little time for boys. But even if she did find the time to date, it's difficult to meet any guys since she's attended a prestigious all girls private school most of her life. She despises Amanda for being the niece of Robert Addington. The headmaster's position is a job that Karen craves, and has no qualms about taking her anger out on Amanda. But things start to change after a new teacher of Ancient History is hired; a gorgeous man by the name of Mark Jacobson. Soon everyone's attention shifts from Robert to Mark, and even Amanda is smitten with the new handsome man in town. She is more than delighted when he asks her to help him with his research; a book he's writing about ancient Egyptian beliefs and mythologies. But strange things begin to happen. Amanda starts having erotic dreams about being seduced by a panther type creature. And although not a furry, she is in no hurry to have the dreams discontinue. Soon everyday people begin to change, and even the nastiest person in town soon becomes the most pleasant. Odd dreams that seem like memories from the past plague Amanda almost every night, and she finds it hard to trust anyone anymore. For an ancient Egyptian deity has set his sights on her.
