During the second Santos administration, the West Wing staff is working overtime to sway favor for extreme gun control legislation. Meanwhile several dozen reporters have been kidnapped in Indonesia, with terrorist groups demanding millions of guns. Running out of ideas, and losing ground in the House and Senate, President Santos, Josh Lyman, C.J. Cregg, and others decide on a controversial hail Mary to save the day. If the West Wing were to return to television tomorrow, this could be the next season.
