This poem is about a girl who tries her level best to make her lover underatand and forget her and that life still has many horizons to be unfolded and witnessed. The pain of separation feels nothing when you have felt the pain of staying. Sometimes it's far better to leave than to stay. The girl has tried to remind her lover of their love as well as given a message to him to forget her and move on.

The Boy She Saw in the Hospital
"Death isn't just one thing that happens and is over with. That description fits life more. Death is eternal. I mean that's how I view it. Death brings joy and pain. In my opinion life should be viewed as death is. The end. Death is the beginning. A new life, a fresh new start. Its beauty is unmatched. I imagine it feels like stars bursting, a million smiles and just pure happiness." Cancer. What a pain. Valerie's crippling illness leaves her hospitalised, bored out of her mind, dreaming of how she just wants to be a normal teenager. Although her thoughts are constantly intruded by someone. The boy. She was intrigued by him, he visited everyday at the same time, 2:47pm. She wanted to know his story, why was he here? Is he visiting someone? Her curiosity overflowed her. Anyways, it didn't matter, for her illness was getting better and she could finally get back to school. Sophomore year. Gosh. She could finally be a normal teenager. Then she saw "him" in the school hallways. The boy. Although he seemed different, less warm, more cold. It was like he put up a façade and barricaded his true self. I'm always searching for something worth staying for but I can't seem to find that until then please don't mind me because I'm just a traveler passing through. "Dear Crush, I exist... and trust me or not, but no one else in this whole world can love you the way I do..." He fell in love for the first time in his life. Even after being the most popular guy at school, he was afraid to talk to her, not because she was more popular than him, but because she was different, very different from other girls out there. She was in love with him, since elementary school. Just a single glimpse of him was enough to make her day. But she was afraid to tell him, obviously, he was way too popular and better for a girl like her. But, even though he was popular, he was... different. His politeness was the thing that attracted her... the most. Then one day, their love was sealed by a kiss! Will they ever be able to tell each other and realize, that...
