"Goddamnit Raylie!" Carson yelled, throwing his brand new pack of cigarettes against the bedroom wall. I listened to the pack thump as it hit the ground, the room falling into silence.

"Don't you see? This isn't a game anymore." He growled on, I watched his tall frame approach, his chest rising and falling rapidly, his face just centimeters away from mine.

"Prove it" I challenged.

***

Raylie Jones is about to have her 18th birthday in a new town. She's moved around all her life, never staying for more than a couple of years. No one knows who she is or what secrets she holds but this small little town likes to talk.

Carson Micheals is a player. Every girl practically kisses the ground he walks on, the nerds worship him and his ability to talk to anyone. Although no one knows what really happens behind the door of his 2 story house.

Carson Micheals likes a challenge, but he's never seen a challenge like Raylie Jones. Will their differences rip them apart and create mutual destruction or will they grow closer to one another?
