"What the heck are you?", he asked, an amused look on his face. "Honey", I started then flipped my hair, "I'm a perfect 10" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wendy Hilton is a perfectionist. Well, she wants to be one. She goes by the mantra; The Perfect 10 1. Beauty 2. Delicateness 3. Confidence 4. Intelligence 5. Pride 6. Sofistication 7. Modesty 8. Politeness 9. Strength 10. Elegance She wants to live by it, needs her life to be flawless....at least to the satisfaction of her father. If she could she would be in her garden, engulfed in the scent of flowers and with the person she cherishes the most. Everyday of her life she feels like the walking dead and being surrounded in a house with 10 people who can make and break her just plunged her deeper in her hole. When she is kept in a new environment, mixed with people she never thought will ever come into her life, will she be able to take the hand that stretched down into a world that suddenly became so bleak to her? My family seems to be perfect from the outside looking in. We have the big house, the money for things, the million-dollar-smiles... but nothing is ever as it seems. We're plastic. We're fake. So fake, in fact, that we hide the little things about us, we hide everything about us, to be more specific. My dad does things he isn't supposed to, and my mom is taking it hard. My brother has a full ride to any college of his choice, and he's blowing it away like it's nothing at all. So what would happen if someone found out about us? If they saw through our little charade? If they looked past the kitchen curtains that hide every conversation my parents have with each other? What if we were exposed for who we really are, instead of who everyone thinks we are? - Available to buy now - COMPLETE PLEASE DON'T EDIT - I GOT IT Highest Ranking in General Fiction: # 283
