Drake, prince of the vampires, seemed to have everything he wanted.  He could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. He could annoy the Fire Prince and the other living creatures as much as he wanted to. Everything seemed to be great, although he seemed to be missing out on something: a mate.
His father always told him his mate died a long time ago and Drake would have to find someone else in order to fulfill his duty as the next king. After accidentally making his way to the Shadow Kingdom with Jack and James, they met a few of children of the Shadow King. Why did one of them make him feel so strange...?
