Meet Clary the aspiring artist. Clary has been around art her entire life and after her dad's death, it really helped get her through it. Clary is new to Herondale High, a school for New York's elite to send their children. The joke is Clary is there on scholarship eliciting all sorts of rumors about why she is there. The punch line? Clary is rich maybe even richer than school celebrity Jace Herondale and his best friends Alec and Isabelle Lightwood.

What happens when Clary and Jace's paths cross and they become friends? Will secrets from the past keep them being together or are their differences enough to keep them from even getting that far?
