Hogwarts fan fic with a twist

It's your 1st year as a hogwarts student. Oddly enough having a hufflepuff for a father and what you thought was a muggle as your mother. Knowing your older brother was as well a hufflepuff, you walked into hogwarts knowing what house you'd sorted to.
Or so, you thought...

As I began to walk in on Olivander's finishing with another student, I looked around quietly. As I looked at the different wands, one stood out. A box right before my hand immediately starting to shake.
Both Olivander and the young wizard looked over out of curiosity. Leaving the bewildered boy still watching, Olivander walked up.
"Seems the Phoenix feather enjoys your company" he let out as he softly chuckled. Taking the box out of it's spot, he handed it to you.
"Go on" he urged to hold the wand. Smiling to myself and taking a hold of the wand, I felt a gust of wind go past me. A light shown above and instantly, I linked with the wand. It was mine and I was going to keep it forever.
"That's a Phoenix feather, quite bendy, ebony wood, and about 13 inches. Perfect wand"
I turned to see the boy was watching. He looked around my age.
"First year, you?"
"About the same"
The mysterious figure nodded and turned.
"Hope to see you again soon"
And with that he left the store.
