Alexia Saunders is a driven and hard-working senior at The University of Chicago. Being used to have everything figured out, even when the world is moving in the opposite direction, she's determined to finish her degree successfully. Not only that, but with the gift of being articulated, she's an opinionated, no shit-taking person.
All of that will be put to test once she walks into the class of Professor Nathaniel Rowlins, the latest acquisition of the English Department.
Nathaniel is young, handsome, incredibly smart, and just the right amount of presumptuous, and he seems to be determined to challenge Alexia not only academically, but also emotionally.
