28 years ago. The people of the Enchanted Forest were inflicted with the Evil Queens curse. Vivian, her husband and her daughter were some of those people. Her and her husband were able to stay together but were cursed to remember everything, and watch their daughter live with a different family.
Two years after the curse she takes on the name Ember and starts working at the school with Mary Margaret, returning home every night to her nearly insane husband, Jefferson. She continues this cycle till Emma Swan shows up in Storybrooke and everything is flipped upside down.
