"Marzanna baby..Do you feel okay? You look sick." She cooed. Marzanna or Marz For short, looked at her mother with a confused expression. She knew she looked fine but she felt weird. She'd fallen out of the third floor window and landed on her head. The sheer impact should of killed her, even for a nepthy. She barley felt any pain which was odd for her age.
Wasn't her kind supposed to be half immortal? She nodded at her mother with a small smile and ran up to her room. 'Was there something wrong with me?' She thought. Little did she know, unexpected challenges would come her way. First being unable to die.

In a word of 12 races, illegal hybrids, and stupid wars over bets, figuring out your the odd one out didn't surprise Marzanna. But being a sarcastic wallflower with blue blood, skin as cold as ice, and faster than average healing abilities, could really make some people superstitious.

My name is Hibiscus Brown, my best friend is a unicorn and my life is going absolutely nowhere. Oh, and I'm a witch. At least partly - the rest is all werewolf. After growling a little to loudly, Hibiscus, Kitty, Brown finds herself in the unfortunate situation of having to move back home to live with her dad /the werewolf/, her step-mom /the werebear/, and all the other creatures living in a small town called Nowhere. Surely it's just temporary? Surely even a half-witch/half-werewolf can figure out what she wants to do with her life? Surely the handsome werewolf who just moved back will ignore her, like he /mostly/ did when they were in high school? And surely the mysterious dark stranger who seems to pop up just about everywhere will help her when she needs it? She gets caught between life and death, yes or no, and the danger that this strange new world's war has to offer. The biggest life altering choices, for her and the rest of the world, are on her shoulders. For a moment they both said nothing. It looked late, everywhere was cloudy and a gigantic moon covered half of the sky. Everywhere looked empty, dry, imaginary. They were both seated on a bench, One was dashingly handsome with nice features but still looked ordinary. Humanly. But the other one was different, with gigantic white wings covering her back, Beautiful? yes, amazingly beautiful, with her long red hair and beautiful long red gown. But possessed a very powerful dark Aura. "Let me save you" She faced him this time, no longer in her thoughts holding his rough hands gently. "Running to a pretty demon for help.... ehhh I'm not sure about that" he replied jokingly as he couldn't help but caress her soft cheeks. "I don't know if you are here to save me or destroy me, but I will trust you" "I'm not sure about that too Alex, but let's give it a try" He nodded then disappeared into thin air. "Trust?" She couldn't help but mumble to herself, as tears could be seen slowly sliding down her cheeks, And her wings gradually changing to its original color, Black. Then he woke up. Death's Awakening
"Kill..." the low whispering voice trailed off into my head. I don't think the strange whispering voice came from anyone in the room. It was too loud; too abnormel; too deadly. Suddenly a cold shiver ran down my back making me scream and cry out for someone, something, anything. I want to be alone, somwhere dark, somewhere safe. My eyes open to see a woman cradling me in her arms. A man with red eyes, tan skin, and blonde hair starred at me. His eyes sunk into my head making me wince. The woman is natuarlly warm and comfortable, but her face is stained with tears mixed with blood on her, once beautiful, face. She smeared some of the blood onto my puffy cheeks with a warm beaten and calloused hand. "You're gonna be okay," she assured me. More tears fell from her eyes. I looked closer into her grayish, I think, eyes. They had evil tucked beneath fear in them. I don't know what she means, yet her words mean the world to me at this very moment: 4 minutes ago, I was born.Terminé

*UNDER SERIOUS EDITING* What if I told you all things that go bump in the night were real? All the monsters from scary stories. You wouldn't believe me right? That's insane, or so Brinley had once thought. Brinley Zora, your normal everyday 24 year old video game streamer. She was normal, in every possible sense of the word, or at least she used to be before strange dreams and occurrences started happening to her on a regular basis. Secrets, death, twists and turns, impending doom. All of it to be discovered after shes told her families history. Friendships bonded over generations. Bonded by unseen other worldly forces. Even my daddy is a warlock when he's not moonlighting as a rat (a consequence of the aforementioned grandmother's temper). So you would think I would be a witch too, right? Nope. Not a spark of magic resides in my fingertips, and even worse, I'm beginning to think I'm allergic to magic. Kind of a big problem when you live in the middle of the most magical town in Mississippi. I'm just biding my time until I turn eighteen. Then, I can pack my bags and move out into the real world- with the normal humans.
